In response to the latest debacle, the "Shithole countries" comment by the POTUS.

It's not that he's being racist, it's just the "Tired, poor huddled masses yearning to breathe free" that he objects to. He just wants well educated immigrants from rich white countries like Norway. </sarcasm>

I was thinking earlier today about the first year of the Trump regime. As bad as it has been, it's not nearly as bad as I figured it might be. His sheer incompetence to lead has made him unable to accomplish much of his twisted agenda. What he has done can mostly be undone later by the same Presidential fiat. This article reflects some of those same thoughts that things aren't as bad as they could be, and the Republic is showing resilience.
