Maybe Trump plans to dictate automakers make the American Beetle?

You all know that Nigel Farrage is a far right hatemonger of the worst sort, will happily contradict himself to say whatever will get him the most attention on the day, and has never been elected to the British Parliament in his life, despite running 7 times?

please do not believe anything this man says because he will say something else tomorrow or next week.

Transition team buzz has shifted the talk of Giuliani's nomination as being for State. Consistently with this, Giuliani is now giving interviews on American foreign policy.

The biggest foreign policy issue for a Trump presidency? Is it Chinese expansion into the South China Sea? Russian strongmen? The destabilizing force of Saudi Arabia? Keeping strong ties to Europe?

Oh no. Giuliani sees ISIS as America's biggest foreign policy question.

Ugh. Of course, Giuliani in State is an overall UGH. He lacks the vision needed or the requisite experience in foreign policy, imo. While I think he would have made a horrible AG, it at least fits his background.

Also, an article on Giuliani's history as a vindictive authoritarian and his role in the trumping up of prosecutorial powers. This focuses on his unfitness for the role of AG, but most of it transfers to State as well.

Ben Carson turns down Cabinet position. He cites his lack of experience in administration.

But...he thought he was qualified to be President? Um? Okay?

Hmm... I wonder if that had more to do with having to work with Bannon than anything else?

Think you might be right there. Or he is disgruntled that he didn't get to be president.

Carson's platform pretty much was "I won't do anything", an excellent program, especially compared to what we are getting, and doesn't require much experience. As a minion, that is not nearly as good, unless you have a boss who agrees.

The Bannon appointment is seriously testing my desire to give this administration a chance. I don't want to give people like Bannon a chance to do anything. It's clear what he is.

Carson had already discussed a program to monitor speech on college campuses. How much capital do we want to waste listening in on classroom debates and dorm room gossip?

Ai ai ai.

There aren't enough facepalms in the 'verse.
