Hearing the Justicar's words, Francois turns back, and see's the unhealing wounds on Jocelyn and Leo. A brief tick in his eyebrow indicates that he has made a tactical decision.

Francois almost seems to grow as his presence becomes more and more empowered. (Majesty)

"Jocelyn, Leo, to the gate, NOW!, he bellows striding towards the insect like creatures. His gait is menacing. "Would you challenge ME! He calls at them."

The insect-men all kind of instinctively curl into little balls at François's display, which actually speeds up the rotation rate of those that are already spinning.

The Garou drops the hammer with a vicious, lightning-quick thrust into Jocelin's chest with its good arm.

((I popped a 5 on the Garou's first attack roll in the round. His Brawling skill is definitely 15+, so no parrying or dodging possible. Jocelin takes 8 more aggravated damage, which is enough at this point to send her to Final Death. Decision time.))

Meanwhile, the sounds of metal on wood continue in the battle between Gwynnis and the redhead.

"You always were such a pretty girl, Sidana," says Gwynnis. "But that trick won't work again. Perhaps I should make this sporting." Those of you who can see the Justicar notice that she closes her eyes, yet still presses her attack, giving everything that Sidana can handle to keep Excalibur off of her.

"You always did like to preen, Majesty," replies Sidana, scorn and contempt dripping from that last word. "But it will be your undoing this time. Well, not yours, exactly."

As soon as Sidana finishes speaking, the tower atop Glastonbury Tor is rocked to its foundation, and begins to shake violently.

"The shrine," Gwynnis breathes. "The gate closes now! It will not open again!" Gwynnis leaps off the top of the tower towards the shrine, and the beam of light that issues forth into Deep Umbra begins to narrow.

Seeing Jocelin fall, Francois spins toward the gate, and sprints, (full celerity). Any bad guy in the way, will get shoulder tackled through the gate.

Jocelin's umbral form simply dissolves when the Garou lands its blow. All that remains is a tiny orb, which Meerlinda calls to her hand telekinetically. It is the Justicar's eye.

Sidana retreats to Heather and her Garou escort, and the Garou dashes for the beam of light. As soon as it's in contact with the narrowing beam, it turns sideways and fades away, taking Sidana and Heather with it.

The insect-men are still curled up, allowing an avenue of retreat for Leo.

Leo heeds Francois' command and wheels about towards the gate, looking to see if Jocelin does the same.

When he sees her collapse to dust he clenches his jaw and mentally vows to God to bring justice to Heather.
